2/6/2018 · Hello hunters! If youre here, youre wondering about WEAPON ELEMENTAL ATTACK DAMAGE CAPS. Annoying as it is, it is capped and you should be careful going over it due to wasted armor skills / decoration slots. Generally speaking, the larger the base elemental damage is the larger the cap will be. The reverse also applies. The smaller the base elemental damage is the smaller the cap .

have HH user give you any and all elemental damage buffs. get poisoned or blighted and cure it. have a weapon equipped with the highest elemental value, augmented purely for more elemental value. the you’ll know what the highest cap is, the effort to reach it, and ultimately how meaningless it is xD. because the rest of your damage suffers.
Elemental damage is a flat increase to any and all of your attacks that aren’t secondary. Elemental reload increases damage by 5% at the significant cost of reducing reload speed from fast to slow. Personally, I don’t know any gunner that would want to sacrifice the comforts (and indirect DPS boost) of quicker reloads for slow reload with slightly increased damage .
